In my life, I have been lucky enough to live in two different places that make wonderful churros: the Basque country in Spain and France, and Los Angeles, California. I just loved walking around downtown LA and grabbing those gigantic pinwheeled churros off a cart. I add bacon in this concoction for a delicious combination of saltiness and cinnamon. It’s difficult to resist dipping my fingers in the chocolate sauce to finish off any remaining bits.
