  • 1 cup (250 mL) unsalted butter

Method

In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. As the butter starts to melt, it will begin to foam and the water content will start to evaporate. The melting butter will change to a light golden colour and browned milk parts will start dropping to the bottom of the saucepan.
