  • ½ cup (125 mL) softened unsalted butter
  • 6 medium-size fresh basil leaves

Method

In an electric mixing bowl with the paddle attachment, mix the butter on low speed until soft and creamy. Use a rubber spatula to scrape down the sides of the bowl.

Stack the basil leaves on top of each other, then carefully cut them into thin strips with a chef’s knife and set aside. Cut the sundried tomatoes into thin strips. Add the sliced tomatoes, lemon zest, thyme, sea salt and ba
