The hefty addition of nuts, seeds and dried fruits will add some healthy crunch to these simple yet delicious chocolate brownies, and just a few scrumptious bites will provide helpful calories (that get worked off) when you’re hiking or biking. As for me, I enjoy them sitting by a campfire with a cup of coffee.

Ingredients

  • cups (310 mL) chopped extra bitter chocolate

Method

Preheat oven at 360°F (180°C).

Place a double boiler over medium heat. Add the extra bitter chocolate to the bowl, and allow it to melt slowly. Keep warm until needed.
