I love making these rich, buttery, French-style cookies during the holiday season, as they are the perfect homemade gift for friends and work colleagues. The tangerine zest and ground cardamom bring a lot of freshness to the strong chocolate flavour.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups (500 mL) all-purpose flour
  • Zest of 2 tangerines

Method

In a medium bowl, stir together the flour, tangerine zest, salt, cocoa powder and cardamom.
