Yogurt, lemon, and garlic are common seasonings in the Middle East. But the sweet touch of ground cinnamon and cardamom add indicate the Palestinian/Jordanian origin of this dish. The recipe came from a lady grill master from the West Bank. The traditional way to prepare it would be with boneless breast meat on kebabs, but I like to use whole, bone-in chicken breasts (I like the extra flavor the bones add).

Serve the chicken breasts with grilled or fresh pit
