The postcard picturesque town of Isle Sur la Sorgue lives up to its nickname “the Venice of Provence.” The Sorgue River flows through and around its center, creating broad quays and waterfront terraces. On Sunday (market day), the quays fill with vendors selling Provençal provender and handicrafts. The following recipe was inspired by the spice vendors at the market.
