  • About

Murgh Tikka is probably one of the best-known Indian dishes. The secret lies in marinating the meat, first briefly in lemon juice and salt, then in a richly spiced yogurt mixture, preferably overnight.

Ingredients

  • 675 g/ lb skinless chicken breasts, cut into 5cm/2in cubes
  • 30 ml/2

Method

  1. Put the cubed chicken breasts in a mixing bowl, sprinkle with lemon juice and salt and stir until the chicken is coated. Cover with clear film (plastic wrap) and set aside in the refrigerator for 30-40 minutes.

  2. Meanwhile, blend the yogurt, gram flour and cream together in another bowl. Add all the remaining ingredients, except the butter. Mix well.
