This wonderful flaky bread, Dimer Parota, can easily steal the centre stage as it is packed full of protein, fibre and vitamins. Delicious served warm from the oven, any leftovers make an ideal accompaniment to a vegetable curry, or you could cut the bread into small pieces and serve it as an appetizer at drinks parties.
Put both types of flour into a large mixing bowl and work in the salt and baking powder. Add the oil and yogurt and mix with your fingertips.
Gradually add the water and combine until a soft dough is formed.
