This dish, Gulab Jamun, is traditionally made with two dairy products known as khoya (reduced solidified milk) and chenna (cottage cheese), both of which are time-consuming to make. Full-cream milk powder or skimmed milk powder mixed with single cream are good, quick alternatives.
