  • About

These guys aren’t just for decorating. Softer chewier, and made with more bright ginger and less smokey clove than most gingerbread men, they’re tasty, too.

Ingredients

  • cups all-purpose flour
  • teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon</

Method

  1. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and all the fragrant spices and set them aside.
  2. Beat the butter and sugars together until they look fluffy. Then add the egg and pour in the molasses, and beat again to incorporate. Stop to scrape down the sticky sides of the bowl as needed.
  3. Add the flour mixture, a third at a time, mixing until it’s worked
