Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon mixed dried herbs
  • ½ oz/15 g mixed ground cloves, mace and ginger
  • 1 oz/25 g pepper
  • 1 oz/25 g salt

Method

Mix all the ingredients well together and rub through a sieve. Put into an airtight tin or bottle and keep near the stove. Use sparingly in soups and stews.
