  • 2lb/1 kg green tomatoes
  • Rind of 1 sweet orange


Cut up the tomatoes and put into a pan. Shred the orange rind very finely and simmer in a little water until tender. Drain and add to the tomatoes. Simmer until the tomatoes are tender. Stir in the sugar over low heat until dissolved. Boil hard to setting point. Pour into hot jars and cover.
