  • 2 lb/1 kg ripe raspberries or strawberries
  • 1 lemon


Crush the fruit in a jar and add the thin rind and strained juice of the lemon. Add the sugar and rum and seal tightly. Leave for a month, shaking occasionally. Filter into bottles.
