  • 2 ounces butter

Bring the butter to room temperature, and cream it thoroughly. Place the flour on the work surface, make a well in the center, and add creamed butter and the egg. Using your fingertips and stirring in 1 direction, mix the ingredients together, letting butter and egg absorb the flour. Slowly dribble water into dough and work with fingers to mix well.
