Ingredients

  • 5 oz. soft breadcrumbs
  • 3 oz. grated cheese
  • Pinch of mixed herbs
  • A little chopped onion
  • Salt and dry mustard
  • 1 egg, separated
  • Lard for frying

    Method

    Combine the dry ingredients, season, bind with egg yolk and form into sausage shapes. Roll in flour, dip in egg white and crumbs, and fry in lard.
