Mix the suet and the flour with salt. Beat the eggs, and add to the mixture, and make into a batter with the milk. Put into a greased pie dish and bake at 350°F, 180°C, gas mark 4 for one and a half hours. Serve with meat, or make it into a sweet pudding by adding two tablespoons sugar and a few currants.
