Ingredients

  • 1 lb haddock or bream
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 eggs

Method

Poach the fish and cool it. Flake the flesh and mix with the finely-chopped onion, beaten eggs, milk, softened butter, breadcrumbs and lemon juice. Season well and put into a greased pie dish. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake at 375°F, 190°C, gas mark 5 for forty minutes.
