  • 2oz butter
  • 4oz grated Cheddar cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 8oz soft white breadcrumbs
  • Salt and Cayenne pepper
  • Deep fat for frying


    Melt the butter and add the cheese. Mix well and add the beaten eggs, salt and pepper. Mix in the breadcrumbs to make a stiff consistency. Divide and form into balls. Fry in deep hot fat for three minutes. These are good served with baked tomatoes.
