  • 4oz cheese
  • Salt and pepper
  • ¼ pint single cream

    Method

    Butter an ovenware dish. Cut the cheese into matchstick slices and arrange them so that they are not packed together in the dish. Season well and pour the cream over them. Bake at 350°F, 180°C, gas mark 4 for fifteen minutes.
