  • 8oz shortcrust pastry
  • 8oz sausage meat
  • 1 onion
  • 1 Egg, beaten
  • Mixed herbs


    Roll out the pastry and cut into two circles to fit a seven-inch pie plate. Line the plate with one round of pastry. Mix the sausage meat, chopped onion, beaten egg and plenty of chopped fresh herbs. Cover with the pastry lid. Bake at 425°F, 220°C, gas mark 7 for thirty minutes.
