  • 8oz puff pastry
  • Strawberry jam
  • 4oz butter

Method

Line a flan ring or baking tin with the pastry, and spread with jam. Melt together the butter and sugar, and mix in the egg yolks and whites and the essence. Bake at 375°F, 190°C, gas mark 5 for about twenty-five minutes.
