Ingredients

  • 1½lb blackberries
  • 1½lb apples
  • ¼-½ pint Water
  • 3lb sugar

    Method

    Prepare the fruit, and simmer gently with water until soft. Add sugar, and cook rapidly until setting point is reached. Pour into warm jars and cover.
