Ingredients

  • 6lb blackberries
  • 2lb apples
  • 2lb

Method

Wash the blackberries and put them into a pan. Peel and chop the apples and onions. Add them to the blackberries together with all the remaining ingredients except the sugar. Cook gently for one hour. Put through a sieve and add the sugar to the pulp. Cook until thick and pour into jars. Cover as usual.
