  • 2 pints cider
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon


    Place all the ingredients in a saucepan and bring gently to the boil. Simmer for ten minutes. Strain through muslin before pouring into glasses. Garnish with apple slices and lemon slices.
