Butter ¼ cup 2 oz. 60 grams
Lemon juice 1 tbs. 1 tbs. 15 milliliters
Salt, black pepper To season To season To season
Scallops 1 lb. 1 lb. .5 kilo
Bacon slices 8 8 8
Sesame seeds 1 oz. 1 oz. 30 grams


Method of Preparation

Melt butter and mix with lemon juice—season with salt and pepper—place scallops in this mixture. Cut bacon into slices large enough to wrap around scallops—place sesame seeds in dish—preheat oven to medium.

Method of Cookery

  1. Wrap bacon around scallop. Secure with a toothpick and roll bacon in sesame seeds.
  2. Place on greased oven tray and broil about 5 inches from the heat until the bacon is crisp (about 5 minutes).


Serve with general cocktails.
