A well-known television personality admitted to me that he was a keen consumer of lamb’s fry. A little later on he described as one of his pet hates—lamb’s liver. Digging deeper into this curious contradiction, I (and he) discovered that his mother had used the title “lamb’s fry” to overcome his aversion to liver. This proves, to me at least, that you should never reject a food without giving it a reasonable chance.
