Large raisins (after soaking) 6 tbsp. 2 oz. 60 grams
Pineapple pieces 2 oz. 2 oz. 60 grams
Almonds ¼ cup 1 oz. 30 grams

Method

Method of Preparation

Soak large raisins and weigh—finely dice pineapple—wash rice thoroughly—skin and slice almonds.

Method of Cookery

  1. Boil 3 pints of water with salt.
  2. Add rice, stir to boil and leave to boil for 5 minutes.
  3. Drain rice into colander and place over saucepan of boiling water.
  4. Add raisins (drained), pineapple, and almonds. Mix through thoroughly.
  5. Place lid on top and steam for 10 minutes.
