Cabbage is one of those vegetables that has really taken us a while to enjoy eating. Toasting the caraway seeds and the light pan-frying makes it a tasty accompaniment.
Heat a large pan and lightly toast the caraway seeds for 1 minute.
Add the butter and olive oil to the pan, allow to melt and then add the cabbage. Stir the cabbage to prevent it from burning, and sauté for 3–4 minutes.
Add the white wine and continue to cook until the cabbage has wilted. Season with salt and pepper, add the lemon juice, and serve.
