We admit that we are not the greatest fans of English food, which is a standing joke in The Gate’s kitchen. When we find ourselves cooking a “traditional” English dish, someone will say, “This represents the best of British”, and this soup definitely comes into that category. If there are two ingredients that complement each other perfectly, they are cauliflower and Stilton.
