Considering this is probably one of the most cooked sauces in the world, we are still surprised by the number of people who ask for a recipe.


  • Spanish onion 1 large, finely chopped

  1. Sauté the onion in the oil until translucent: about 6–7 minutes. Add the garlic, carrot, and celery and continue cooking until the carrots and celery are soft: another 5 minutes or so.
