Ingredients

  • 5 large, ripe tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 170 g fine burghul wheat

Method

  • soak the burghul wheat in warm water for 10 minutes, then drain & squeeze out any excess water
  • place the chopped tomatoes, onions, mint & parsley together in a bowl, then add the drained burghul wheat, olive oil & lemon juice & mix well
  • add the sumac, cumin, salt & pepper &a
