Ingredients: take a large handful of the kadaif &, from a height, drop the angel-hair strands of pastry on to the layer of butter; chop pistachio nuts into small pieces and sprinkle evenly over the top; thickly spread soft butter to completely cover the base & sides of the baking tray; turn the heat to low once the knafeh is brown, & pour the sugar syrup all over the surface of the knafeh, allowing it to seep into the layers; place the nabulsi cheese in another large bowl and, with your hands, crumble the cheese into small pieces; sprinkle the pieces of nabulsi cheese evenly over the kadaif, to form the next layer of the knafeh; place the kadaif pastry in a large bowl & loosen the strands of the tightly packed ball with your hands
