Ingredients
- 1 kg fresh olives, washed
- 1 litre cold water
- 4 hot
Method
- wash the olives well & make a slit in each, leaving the stone intact
- rinse the olives again & drain well
- fill a large, clean plastic bottle with olives & add the halved chillies & lemon slices
- fill a jug with 1litre of cold fresh water & pour it into the bottle of olives to cover
- add salt & close the bottle tight
