Ingredients

  • 500 g mini cucumbers, whole
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon

Method

  • wash the whole cucumbers thoroughly & remove any remaining stalks, place in a large, clean jar
  • add salt, sugar & chilli flakes
  • fill the jar with cold water to cover the cucumbers & place the lid on the jar & close tightly
  • leave in a cool dark place for 1-2 weeks before eating
