I call this the party sauce. You cannot attend a standard Lagos party without ofada sauce on the menu. Nothing like a dish of succulent chunks of meat stirred in pepper sauce to keep your groove on!
Origin: It is originally from the Yorubas in the western region of Nigeria. Today, it is enjoyed in every region of Nigeria alongside its complement, the legendary ofada rice. Ofada sauce can also be eaten with plain cooked white rice.
