Ingredients

  • 4 cups zobo (roselle or Hibiscus sabdariffa) flowers
  • 2 medium-sized bulbs of fresh ginger
  • 1

Method

  1. Pour zobo (hibiscus) flowers into a pot with 2 ltrs / 68 fl oz of water.
  2. Cook on medium heat for 3 minutes.
  3. Add ginger, pineapple, and cloves.
  4. Leave to boil for 30 minutes.
  5. Add extra water if needed.
  6. Turn off heat and leave to cool completely.
  7. Sieve out zobo flowers.
  8. Pour zobo drink into a jar or preferre
