This recipe, a Downton-inspired variation on the Old Pal, is like a great music hall act. It pairs up two different aged spirits for a more complex flavor, and two different liqueurs for less bitterness and more citrus–a combination to get you a standing ovation.

½ fl oz 15 ml ½ fl oz
Method
Combine all the ingredients in a mixing glass filled with ice and stir until well chilled, 20–30 seconds. Strain into a chilled coupe or cocktail glass.
