  • About

Although this is the most famous fizz, it is actually not a true fizz because it departs from both the classic ingredients and construction method. The secret of this drink, created in the late nineteenth century by New Orleans restaurateur Henry Ramos, lies in the shaking: a full three minutes. That’s a long time, but some feel it is the only way to achieve the trademark silky mouthfeel. Feel free to shake it as long as you can.
