Bobby Burns

The Bobby Burns is a simple variation on the Rob Roy, dressed up with the addition of a little Bénédictine. The herbal liqueur became popular in England after World War I, particularly in the Burnley area, when injured soldiers from the East Lancashire Regiment developed a taste for it while recuperating at the Bénédictine distillery-turned-makeshift-hospital.
