  • 4 Potatoes
  • Boiling Lard, or Butter
  • 4 Tablespoonfuls of Sugar


Boil the potatoes, and then cut them lengthwise in halves. Fry in boiling lard or butter, and, after frying, sprinkle generously with sugar. This is a delicious sweet dish.
