Ingredients

  • 84 g/3 oz/⅓–½ cup wild rice

Method

In a saucepan, stir-fry the shallots and garlic in the oil for 1 minute, then add the wild rice and continue stir-frying for another minute. Pour in the cold water and add the salt. Bring to the boil and simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes.
