  • 12 large mushrooms
  • Salt
  • 12 large oysters
  • Pepper
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup Brown Sauce


Wash, remove stems, peel caps of mushrooms. Cook 5 minutes in a hot spider with 2 tablespoons butter.

Place in dripping pan, cap side up, place an oyster on each cap, season with salt, pepper and bits of butter and cook until oysters are plump and serve in Brown Sauce.
