  • 5 sour apples, or
  • ½ teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • ¼ lb. prunes
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup bread crumbs, or
  • 1/16 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup cold boiled rice


    Follow directions for Stewing Prunes, remove stones and cut in quarters.

    Peel, quarter and core the apples, and stew until half done. Add the rest of the ingredients, mix, stuff and roast.
