Shred the cabbage fine, salt and pepper to taste, add the apples cut in slices.
Heat the fat in a spicier, add the cabbage and apples. Pour boiling water over them and let cook until tender; sprinkle over the flour, add sugar and vinegar. Cook a little longer and then serve hot with Potato Dumplings. If red cabbage is used pour boiling water over it 2
