Let shad roe simmer 20 minutes in salted water with the vinegar added. Cool, cut in slices and cubes and pour over it a French Dressing; add cucumber, peeled, cut in cubes, and Mayonnaise, to moisten. Place salad on a bed of crisp lettuce leaves; garnish with sliced cucumbers.
