Core, pare and cut apples in inch rounds or slices, sprinkle with powdered sugar and a few drops of lemon juice, cover and let stand ½ hour. Drain, dip pieces in batter No. 1 or No. 2, fry in deep hot fat and drain. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
