  • Noodles
  • 2 tablespoons fat or butter
  • 3 yolks
  • 1 cup sugar
  • teaspoons cinnamon
  • 2 apples, sliced
  • ¼ cup dried currants
  • ½ cup chopped nuts
  • 3 beaten whites


Follow recipe for Noodles, using 3 eggs and salt and flour in proportion. Cut noodles fine. Boil in salt water (1 teaspoon salt to 1 qt. water), 5 minutes and drain in colander. Heat fat or butter in a spider, add the noodles and cook just long enough to absorb the fat. Add the beaten yolks, sugar and the rest of the ingredients in the order given. Place in well greased pudding dish and bake ½ hour in a moderate oven. Serve in the baking form, plain or with wine, jelly, or Creamy Sauce.
