Rice with Apples or Pineapple

  • ½ cup rice
  • 3 eggs
  • ½ cup sugar


Pare and core the apples, cut in eighths and cook until soft. Steam the rice, add well beaten yolks of eggs, sugar and cooked apples. Fold in the stiffly beaten whites and bake 30 minutes in well-buttered baking dish. Serve with cream.
