  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • ½ lb. cottage cheese (riced)
  • ½ lb. blanched and grated almonds
  • 5 tablespoons grated wheat bread
  • 10 yolks of eggs
  • 10 whites of eggs
  • 1 lemon, juice and grated rind


Beat sugar and butter to a cream, add yolks, put cheese through a sieve, and add that and other ingredients and mix well and bake in buttered spring form in moderate oven until well set. When cool, ice with Chocolate Frosting. May be made in two layers.
